Proper installation and maintenance will insure years of service.
1. Undog your hatch.
2. Use a 9/16 end wrench to loosen the hinge nut (located on bottom side of coaming)
3. Close the hatch but do not dog down and with one person using the flat head screw driver or a wedge to pry the hatch over slightly (a little past where your gaps look even) the second person will need to retighten the hinge nuts.
4. Once the hinge nuts are tight you can release the side pressure on the hatch.
